Classes are cancelled for tonight due to the wind and sideways snow that we are experiencing.

We may have coaches stranded at the high school due to busses being cancelled, and we don't want

that to happen here tonight!

The Fall Session is now open for registration on Uplifter! (ssf.uplifterinc.com)
To register, go to Uplifter and create a parent account. (if you already have one, just log in!)
Once you have a parent account, add your children to the account. From there you can select classes.
Hit 'Calculate' to get a total. Remember that your Gymnastics Ontario and membership fees are paid once a year (July 1 to June 30.)
E-transfer the total to ssf@live.ca

NEW* Teen climbing - for girls and boys aged 12 and older, climbers will be taught how to climb, belay, and boulder safely. Clean indoor shoes or climbing shoes are required, harnesses are at the gym.
Parent and Tot - Born in 2020-2022
Kinder - born in 2019
Rollers - Girls intro class, born 2018 or earlier
Springers - girls intermediate class (do Rollers first)
Swingers - girls class that follows Springers
Boys CANGYM 1 & 2 - Boys intro class
Boys CANGYM 3 & 4 - Boys intermediate class
Advanced Boys - Boys who have completed above.

Our Uplifter page has been updated with our Summer Camp and Summer Night Class selections.
Summer Camp will be running the weeks of July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, and then August 14, 21 and 28 for full-day, full-week camp 9 am to 4 pm. Before and after care is available as well. You will need to renew your membership as the Gymnastics Ontario year runs July 1 to June 30.
To register, go to ssf.uplifterinc.com and create an account (if you don't have one already). Once you have a (parent) account, you can add your child(ren) and then add camp/classes. Then hit 'calculate' and your total will be calculated. You will have to agree to the polices/waivers as well to complete the process. Then e-transfer your balance to ssf@live.ca to complete your registration.
Night classes run July 10 to August 31, with Monday August 7th having no classes due to the holiday. With July 1 being the new GO year, we are advancing children born in 2019 from Parent and Tot in to Kindergym. Children born in 2018 should now go from Kindergym in to Boys Rec or Rollers (girls). We also welcome anyone born in 2022 (to 2020) in to the Parent and Tot classes.
There are also tryouts for the competitive team on Sunday April 30th from 4-6 pm. You must be at least 7 years old to try out, please let your coach know (or the Club) if you are coming to the tryouts so we can be prepared.

We will be hosting competitive girls tryouts for new and returning athletes interested in our year-long

program on Sunday April 30 from 4-6 pm.

Please tell your coach that you will be attending if you would like to come!

Sessions

Our 3 recreational sessions during the school year start the Monday after Labor Day, the first week of December and the Monday after March Break.  Summer programming starts on the Monday after Canada Day.

 

Registration

We take registration for the Fall session starting on August 1 of each year, and take session registration starting 6 weeks before the start of the school year sessions (October and February). 

Summer registration starts on April 1 each year.

Before starting classes, all participants must submit a waiver with your contact info, previous experience, and acknowledgement of sports risks.

 

What to Wear 

With COVID being an ever-present risk, please come to the gym as close to ready to go as possible.

  • Please remove all jewelry before coming to the Club (that way you can't lose it!)
  • Wear loose clothing that will allow free movement-- try to avoid buttons, zippers and snaps!
  • Bodysuits are available through our boutique and we highly recommend wearing one!
  • Tie your hair back, so it doesn't get in your face.
  • There is space in the restrooms for changing and hooks to hang your clothes on.

 

No food, drink, or gum is allowed in the gym area.
